But I did accidentally add more stitches when I was doing the grey part of the hat but I was trying it out so it's no biggie. It's a super cute hat & pattern! awesome job! :)Karin Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00701200217539879415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7723841764001160555.post-46199635122180263212012-03-17T16:04:36.215-07:002012-03-17T16:04:36.215-07:00Thank you so much for this pattern, I found it las...Thank you so much for this pattern, I found it last night and immediately made it for my niece who's due in a few months. Infact the penguin hat I've shown in my next post was made for a first birthday, but much to my luck it was too too TOO small. It now fits my daughter (she's 4 months) but if your search the net find a basic beanie you like (in the right size) and just change the colours where needed (last row of increases for pink) it just may work out for you.kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12516447536409061444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7723841764001160555.post-6886437352736102962012-02-16T22:06:35.094-08:002012-02-16T22:06:35.094-08:00Thanks so much! I will probably make another one in a larger size for a friend who has a baby girl already :)Daphnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03268785454192433723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7723841764001160555.post-7820432845350038212012-02-16T15:24:27.155-08:002012-02-16T15:24:27.155-08:00becuase they are dc's they should stretch fair...becuase they are dc's they should stretch fairly well - this would have still fit my 3 month old daughter but was a little short. I don't really know how to do that and I don't want to throw the rest of the hat off. Also, what is the difference between the ear flaps and the monkey ears? Are they BOTH suppose to be on this hat? I am so confused :PAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06968387949504130566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7723841764001160555.post-39711130672528819192012-02-13T12:29:37.557-08:002012-02-13T12:29:37.557-08:00can you give me the alterations for a 12 month old...can you give me the alterations for a 12 month old and possibly for an adulthdillon23https://www.blogger.com/profile/17928978592884431228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7723841764001160555.post-19706963486867439662012-02-02T13:39:49.739-08:002012-02-02T13:39:49.739-08:00Sonia - I did the trim using both the cream and pi...Sonia - I did the trim using both the cream and pink together.
